We have an amazing team gathered from all corners
of the globe to work together on this outreach.
Pray for us, for health, unity, peace and good rest, and above all
for an openness to the Spirit in every moment of every day.
Thank you for praying for us!
This is what happens sometimes in YWAM – you say you are interested in something and you get put in charge. Jacqui has spent the last two years praying and dreaming about what is about to happen as Christians serve together during the Games. She is a woman led by the voice of God, with a desire to invite others to seek Him too.
You may have enjoyed some kiwi style cooking from this multi-talented woman, but if you haven’t you definitely will not miss the great gift of hospitality and care that Hillary brings to everything she does and everyone she knows. Hillary has served the 2010 Project by drafting budgets and graphic design – and almost anything else you can imagine in between.
Hannah is one of the best kept secret weapons of the 2010 Project … with an intense heart for the city of Vancouver and for sincere prayer, she is a force to be reckoned with. Her days around the office have been spent sending emails – but the real highlight of her work is Prayer Stations, which she has played a key role in reviving as a ministry to the city.
The Killarney Knights loaned us #91 to heat up our offense and administrate registration?! Krista is the quintessential definition of passion and fun on the 2010 Team. Her love and commitment for women’s hockey is an inspiration – as is her organizational skills in her role as Registrar. She has served us all in ways we may never know.
Direct from Calgary, Alberta, Ryan is on loan from Mission Adventures to be the irreplaceable host for all of our Full Service teams. Not only does this guy know the all important “3 Cs” of Vancouver urban missions (coffee, Costco and Commercial Drive) he has a passion to serve and see young people really changed as they learn God’s heart for the lost in the City.
Fresh off the boat from Australia, Peter has proved that jetlag really is ‘all in your head’. Stepping straight off a plane and straight into logistics, Peter has already proved to be Ryan’s right hand, verbal processor, and source of life and laughter everywhere he goes. Need a pick-me-up during the outreach? His laugh and lust for life are infectious and invaluable in our crew.
Part of our international YWAM family, and veteran of several Olympic outreaches around the world, Joseph is a man of God who brings encouragement, and a great laugh everywhere he goes. Hailing from Nashville, you’ll be hard pressed to find a YWAM location that hasn’t been impacted by this live wire!
The quiet one of the group is a writer and currently writing a screenplay for a New York film school. She made the LONG journey all the way from Washington state to join the team. Kalli has a servant heart and is willing to help out any way she can. End scene.
Jonathan joins us from Colorado. Jonathan loves being outdoors and snowboarding. He went to college here in Vancouver and is enjoying being here again. He can’t wait to get out and to start doing ministry.
Home for this girl is Molalla, OR (and if you know where that is she’ll be very impressed). She is stoked to be here in this city to serve God, and to make Him known to the nations. Katherine enjoys reading, not wearing shoes, guitar jammin’, and maps.
Direct from Saskatoon, SK, this powerhouse of a woman is not to be underestimated. She brings a passion for God, excitement, and a heart for the city to the team…as well as a love for good coffee. She is living proof that good things do come in small packages!
A woman of many skills and talents, and an excellent leader, Carol comes to us from northern BC, though much of her time is spent in Mexico and India with YWAM. She is a great mom to four amazing children, and an awesome conversationalist.
A New Yorker on loan from YWAM in Kyiv, Ukraine. She loves sports and being at the Olympics is a dream come true for her. She also loves cooking, the New York Rangers and learning Russian. Her passion is to pray for athletes.

Hi, how can we follow you guys on Twitter?
My son is with the snowboarding DTS and we want to pray.
